Collagen
Ok, let's start with an easy one - This powerful protein is essentially what keeps us looking young. It minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving our skin the plump touch of youth.

 

Peptides
The real question: is there anything peptides can’t do? These remarkable all-rounders have both skin-soothing and skin-restoring properties, making them the perfect anti-ager for sensitive skin.

 

Acetyle Hexapeptide-8
These nifty peptides prevent muscle contractions that lead to fine lines and wrinkles. Look for this when you're wanting a less invasive measure to muscle-relaxant injections.

 

Copper Tripeptide-1
This combination of copper and three amino acids activates the skin's renewal process and removes damaged collagen, elastin and scar tissue from the skin.

 

Ceramide 3
A naturally-occurring fatty acid found within the skin; ceramide 3 creates a barrier to protect against the elements and lock in moisture.

 

Andenosine
This proven anti-ager communicates with cells to energise the skin which makes it appear younger and smoother. *magic*

 

Squalane
A highly-effective natural emollient and antioxidant; squalane counteracts dryness and acts as a moisture-magnet, sealing in hydration.

 

Hyaluronic Acid
Do not be afraid! Hyaluronic Acid or HA is your skin's friend, not foe. Considered the holy grail of hydrators, this acid draws in moisture and gives you dewy and fresh skin.

 

Alginate
Think algae when you see alginate. It’s a fibre naturally found in kelp and it removes excess sebum and wards off pollution. Perfect for urban-dwellers!

 

Rose Petal Extract
This fragrant extract is the skincare equivalent of a hug; it protects against free radical damage, moisturises, shrinks pores and calms redness.

 

Rosewater
An ultra-hydrating extract with anti-inflammatory effects; it soothes and nourishes skin that needs a bit of support.

 

Sea buckthorn fruit
An ultra-hydrating extract with anti-inflammatory effects; it soothes and nourishes skin that needs a bit of support.

 

Centella
Teeming with antioxidants; it super ingredient increases collagen, reduces inflammation and speeds up the healing process.

 

Gotu kola
Chinese medicinal ‘miracle elixir or life’ calms, refines, strengthens skin barrier, boosts collagen and improves skin elasticity.


Honeysuckle
Smoothes uneven skin tone, delivers a youthful glow and protects cells.

Rose
You probably didn't need an explanation on this one but did you know that this sweet smelling flower's extract protects skin against free radical damage and can reduce redness, dark marks and imperfections.

 

Apricot
Not just a delicious stone fruit, apricots contain a botanical ingredient that's rich in vitamins C and A. It soothes, brightens and softens skin.

 

Charcoal

Witch Hazel
This natural astringent has amazing pore-tightening capabilities, mending inflamed skin and reducing redness. Also has the coolest name!

 

Tea Tree
Derived from the leaves of the Australian Melaleuca tree, tea tree extract has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory qualities. It helps nix acne by fighting off bacteria that leads to breakouts.

 

Cornus Fruit
Bursting at the seams with antioxidants, cornus fruit increases brightens skin, increases elasticity and reduces inflammation.

 

Pomegranate 
An antioxidant-packed extract that's high in Vitamin C to improve skin texture and tone.

 

Chamomile 
Chamomile is known for its soothing properties, this gentle but effective ingredient calms and softens your skin.

 

Chestnut bark 
This plant extract removes dead skin cells and improves texture. It also assists in decongesting the pores.

 

Green Tea 
This botanical extract is an overachiever to the highest degree. Green tea is a potent antioxidant; it energizes the skin’s surface; it has anti-inflammatory properties; it can improve the appearance of sun damaged skin; it soothes and nourishes.

 

Evening Primrose
A natural emollient high in antioxidants and omega-6 essential fatty acids; evening primrose extract nourishes and hydrates skin, leaving it soft and supple.

 

Mirabilis Jalapa Flower
Also known as the four o’clock flower, mirabilis jalapa extract calms irritation and helps to restore the skin’s protective barrier.

 

Peony
An extract derived from the peony plant, it stimulates microcirculation, smoothes and reduces swelling.

 

Yarrow
Calms inflammation and reduces redness, powerful healing properties to restore skin cells.
